Art is a very powerful medium for personal growth and awareness.
​I facilitate the use of art in a safe and confidential environment allowing the individual creative freedom to explore their inner selves and their life stories.
Art can be a profound way to explore one's beliefs, develop coping skills, increase self esteem and relieve anxiety and new learning about self. Each individual journey in art is different and the process of  healing is as unique as each individual. 
​we are all creative, and artistic talent is not required for this unique unfolding process.

​ Sometimes we need support to overcome life's many hurdles and traumas,  to courageously find our balance again. We need a safe place to tell our story and creatively explore who we are and how we begin to heal.  Utilizing Art Projects is important to allow the unconscious to 'speak' its truth.
I also integrate Somatic healing,  EFT and NLP can often provide new resources and new skills to navigate forward. I work With you to create a respectful yet exploratory process for dealing with life issues, anxieties, hurts and those many bumps along our road.

Children and Youth.

Utilizing art and play in a one on one supportive way allows our children to feel safe and allow them to  communicate more deeply, learning to identify simple and complex feelings. Creating art develops internal strength, resiliency, self  awareness and helps create new curiosity about their situation, themselves and others in a more holistic and healthy way. 
 I also integrate energy and somatic work, NLP techniques, breathing and EFT (tapping) into our sessions. 
Parents and family play a vital role in this healing process and are expected for attendance or meeting.
Safety sometimes takes time and is needed to build  trust that allows one to heal and learn at their own pace. 

Therapeutic Art

Therapeutic Art is less complicated and simple, yet a powerful medium for bringing life balance, emotional regulation, confidence and resilience, creating a more positive sense of self and wellbeing.
​The simple act of creating Art does so much; it strengthens our brain, builds new pathways and helps stimulate creativity and initiation and resilience.
Art doesnt need to be difficult, nor does one need to be artistic or creative to receive its benefits. 
Therapeutic art is beneficial for:

-Cognitive Decline
- Social Anxieties
-Brain injury
 Simple Watercolour sets are used in this class
